HazardAlarm provides audible and visual alerts when lightning or tornadoes are near your location.
This affordable tool improves outdoor safety for your guests and employees.
Ideal for:
The HazardAlarm hardware unit activates an audible alarm and flashes lights when the unit is within a National Weather Service-defined tornado warning or if lightning is within ten miles.
The HazardAlarm unit uses a cellular signal to communicate with HazardCall servers, which monitor weather threats continuously 24/7. Once the warning is canceled or fifteen or thirty minutes (user-selectable) pass since the last lightning strike, the unit stops flashing lights and sounding the alarm.
The HazardAlarm unit requires A/C power and has a battery backup that can last up to four hours in a power loss.
The unit does not require maintenance. The batteries' expected lifetime is three years, after which HazardCall customer service will provide replacements. The unit comes with a metal sign indicating the meaning of the light indicators.
This option allows HazardAlarm to send tornado and lightning activation and cancelation notifications to up to 5 people via phone call, SMS text, and email.
